Your first five minutes with Piano Sprig

Start with a tune you know. A short, enjoyable practice is a good place to begin.

1. Pick a free song

Open Hot Cross Buns for three melody notes, or try Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star. Tap Play once to load the piano sounds.

2. Watch the red line

The falling notes reach the red line when they sound. Blue notes belong to the left hand and green to the right. You can also tap the onscreen keyboard.

3. Slow it down

Choose 0.5× speed, switch off the left hand and follow the melody. Turn on note names if they help you find the keys.

4. Try a tiny loop

Set a start and end bar, then enable Loop bars. Repeat a manageable phrase instead of restarting the whole piece each time.

5. Bring it to your piano

Place your tablet or computer where you can see it comfortably. Play along on your instrument. Piano Sprig does not connect to, listen to or judge your playing.

If there is no sound

Check your device volume and silent mode, tap Play directly and allow a moment for sounds to download. Keep the browser tab visible; playback pauses when you switch away.
